Hez dropped out of the traditional M-F/9-5 workforce during the pandemic and became a nomad. Once her brain wasn’t so busy and occupied with being chronically overworked, things started to get pretty creative. And thus, a website was born.

Hez was born and raised in Wayne County, Ohio – aka Amish Country. After completing undergrad with degrees in English Writing and Communications at the University of Pittsburgh, she went on to receive a Master of Public Policy and Management from Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.

She has worked in the for-profit, nonprofit, and cooperative sectors. Currently she operates her own travel pet- and house-sitting business, in addition to a number of freelance and consulting gigs.

Hez writes poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction. She aspires to buy a fancy camera someday and hopes you like her iPhone pics for now. Someday she expects to be sharing some music here, too, so stay tuned!
